Marketing Your Practice, Yourself and Shiatsu

Many practitioners struggle to make the living they want from Shiatsu - why and what can be done to help with that? Shiatsu has been in the UK for 40 years and it is still not well-known - why and what can be done to change that? This is just some of the questions we will be discussing. It is hoped that at the end of the workshop each participate will have plenty of new ideas to take away with them and new energy will be created within the Shiatsu community.

About me
Director of Shiatsu Health Point Ltd, a marketing organisation which specialises in helping Shiatsu practitioners promote themselves and Shiatsu. I am also director of Health and Wellbeing Community Scheme CIC whose aim is not only to promote complementary therapies but obtain grant funding to pay practitioners to work on community projects and earn a decent living.

We want complementary therapy to be accessible to all but without practitioners having to work voluntarily. I previously worked for 16 years as the General Manager of the Shiatsu Society and have over 25 years' experience working within a professional environment and marketing is now my speciality.

I am author of 'Gain Clients and Raise Awareness using Facebook: Complementary Health and Wellbeing Practitioners: Build the Practice of Your Dreams'.
